I think Absolute Power must be the shortest it's ever been; he looked fantastic. As for the floppy hair, it suited that early Daniel. I'm not sure how it would look on him now. I know it certainly wouldn't look like that godawful lank-looking wig in Moebius!
I, too, had problem with deciding which was the scene for extra brainy Daniel. As you say, mostly naked tips the balance...
Eeek! You had to go and mention Whiskers, the godawful wig of doom. I'm sure it cropped up in Citizen Joe too, thankfully only briefly! And I'm sure the floppy hair wouldn't suit him now. Much too grown-up and all. :-)
Whiskers is Worst Wig Ever, beating Sam's Long Hair Shippy Sam Wig O' Doom hands down. I think you're right about it being the same wig in Citizen Joe. I think it also appeared on Cameron's head in season 10 - The Road Not Taken? Or some succh title, whatever the title of the AU ep I haven't seen is. How they thought that monstrosity bore any likeness to Daniel's lovely soft hair of season 1 and 2, I don't know.
Double eep! Now Whiskers is making a guest appearance in your icon. Damn thing will want to be in the main credit sequence next. I'm pretty sure it had a cameo spot in TRNT, something I found hugely distracting in what was atually quite a serious scene! I think Shippy Sam's Wig O'Doom runs it a very close second, though. AU Sam had obviously never heard of conditioner. All this talk of hair ... we'll be on to boonies and bandanas next ;-)
