Well, if you're hopelessly girly, I am too.
Reading his blog made me realise why I like this man so much.
Eloquent, articulate, honest and funny ... what a refreshing change.
I'm feeling odd today (don't say so what's new!). It feels like I'm losing SG1 all over again (movies notwithstanding) with the last show screened in the US tonight.
Egads, I thought it was bad back in spring when it showed over here. I think I feel worse today.

I think perhaps his blog entry made it more real, if that makes any sense? The final episode didn't really feel like a final episode, probably because it was left open ended - for which I'm very grateful.

I'm a hopeless girly too.

No, I tried to be strong. He got to me too.

"Damn ol' SG-1 leavin', anyway." *wipes eyes*

They're off to have wonderful adventures and Jack will be joining them, as will Janet (the other change that happened after Moebius). It's just happening off camera.

hehe If you're hopelessly girly than I am, too, because he made me cry, too. :-)

That was by far his best blog, he stopped trying to be clever and witty and really spoke from the heart. Good stuff, and yes, I was a bit emotional too *g*

I think this is the second or third time the actor as himself has made me cry!

He certainly made me cry at SG-4, I blubbed like a baby!

Yep, that's the one I remember the most. Drat the man! At least Georgie Porgie kissed the girls first, dammit!

He's a delight isn't he! I'll join you in being all girly and sniffy. Mind you, I loved Unending so for me at least SG-1 went out with a bang not a whimper.

I'm so relieved it ended with them safe and well and I wasn't left with a QL final episode situation (I couldn't watch the show again after that finale).

Thought I haven't watched it yet (which is very bad of me, considering I've had it since March *g*) I've heard enough about it to say...

... and at least it wasn't a "Between the Lines" ending, or a "Farscape" (pre-Peacekeeper War) ending. Or even an X-Files ending! That one sucked majorly. I always wanted for XF what we at least got with SG-1... for Mulder and Scully to just walk out of Mulder's office, turn off the lights with a 'see you tomorrow, Scully' type thing. But nooooo, Chris Carter tried to be clever. Stupid twat.

Anywho, I must catch up ... still catching up on my Who eps. (So digging Dr Who these days!)

When will they ever learn? Keep it open as much as possible and don't piss off your audience.

Ah, Dr Who. I'm enjoying it and what I'm loving most of all is that I'm not fangrrling over it. I enjoy it, it entertains me, and that's it. No fannishness. Ditto Heroes. It's a very relaxing way to watch TV. :-D
