The snow has all gone and the snow person of debateable gender has collapsed. It's all very sad and traumatic, so the £30 I spent on LUSH is perfectly justifiable. I highly recommend Melting Marshmallow Moment bubble bar slice. Yum!

Ah yes, Lush the shop I can't walk past when it's open because the smell goes straight to my sinuses and makes my eyes water. I have way too sensitive sinuses that it's usual for me to give the shop in Oxford's Cornmarket a very wide berth.

It's a pity because years ago I used to love all the smelly bath stuff, now I daren't even buy such things as a pressie unless it's overpackaged within an inch of it's life.

*weeps for you* Is it the variety of different smells you have a problem with or does even one item set off your sinuses?

There are quite a variety of smells that set my sinuses off, basically anything with a rather strong smell, household products, perfumes etc can do it.

Lavendar scented stuff is particularly bad, I've no problem with lavendar plants and flowers as long as I don't stick my nose in them. I had to nicely ask my last boss not to have lavendar oil in the office (she loves it), it was just too strong and wham, off my sinuses went the moment she opened the bottle.

Last week having a bit of a cold and going outside when it was below freezing created a double whammy, no strong smells required - my sinuses created merry hell.
