One cat photo is all it takes to unleash a flood of terrible puns.

A cat only has to appear for bad puns to start multiplying. One picture lands and suddenly the air is thick with wordplay nobody can stop. A loaf-shaped cat turns into a bakery reference. A cat in a box becomes a shipping joke. A stretch becomes something that should never have been typed, yet there it is anyway.

The cat contributes nothing except a face. A calm, unreadable face that somehow encourages the worst humor imaginable. The more serious the expression, the louder the groans get. People see a perfectly normal cat sitting still and feel an overwhelming need to attach a pun to it like it's part of the natural order.

The jokes don't arrive politely. They pile up. One pun opens the door and ten more rush in behind it. Each one is worse than the last. Nobody is proud of what they're saying, but nobody stops either. It becomes a shared commitment to finishing the joke no matter how painful it sounds.

Meanwhile the cat sits there, untouched by any of this, existing with total confidence. It doesn't react. It doesn't need to. The photo already did its job. Somewhere a group of humans is groaning, laughing, and typing another terrible caption they fully intend to post.

Cats know they run the show, just admit they are our masters. 

Cats are inherently pompous – they know their place, and they know they rule us all. Think about back in ancient Egypt, cats were seriously worshipped, carved into stone, and put on pedestals. These days, they're worshipped but in a different way. They're all over our For You Page, they're waiting for their evening dinner the second we get home, and they wake us up first thing in the morning for breakfast. They're the only thing in the world allowed to lay right on top of our face and we don't mind or budge them. Some cats look adorable and innocent, and then you realize they aren't. It's no point to mess around with cats. They're not mean, but their pompous cattitudes can get in the way of your happiness, and their confidence is something out of a movie. With just one look, they can make us do anything for them. 

They sit on the couch not out of insolence, but they know its their rightful throne. That air of pretention isn't an accident, and you know you don't want to mess with them. Even in their body language, their boundaries are firm, and you'll never cross them. If you're wondering if they're spare you a second of their time for cuteness or cuddles, think again. Their respect isn't inherently given, it's something you have to earn by letting them walk all over you (literally). 

Despite their evil side, they are affectionate deep down. We know that we can expect a cuddle and lick when we get home after a long day, even if it's only after we feed them their special dinner. That slow blink isn't for show, he's really trying to tell you that he loves you! Cats are deeply lovable even if they don't always act like it. They bring balance to the household, and they make you take care of things even when you don't want to. 

So when you're tired from the work day, or just want some peace and quiet, you know your cat is always waiting for you with cuddles, kisses, and even sometimes playtime. 

The universe makes so many special things in this world, and of course cats are one of the most special of its creations. And today we are proud to present you with this collection of completely unique cat children, the special editions to the universe's most special creations.

You cannot argue with that fact. Cats truly are the most special creation on this planet. They have all the instincts and behaviors of their sub-saharan family, are built both for the streets and sleeping on satin sheets. And no matter what they do, they pretty much always get what they want. A purrfect machine, designed to conquer all obstacles in its path. Which is what makes these unique cattos even more so unique and exciting as their species in itself is already a marvel to be amazed by.

So we invite you to hold on to your hats as we step into the wonderful world of rare and special cat children that you are very unlikely to come across in your day to day scrolling. Just remember that museum rules apply and no one likes being treated like a freakshow…

Being a cat owner means having to be extra vigilant about the roommates you choose. 

It's impossible to know everything about a person before you're officially living with them, we know that. But you do get the opportunity to ask some questions. And the same way that you might ask about cleanliness or noise, as a cat owner, you have an obligation to ask any potential roommate about cats. What they think about cats, how they treat cats… to get the best idea that you can about whether your cat would be safe around them or not. Because crazy things can happen. 

Some people hate their roommate's cats and ask them to lock the cats away all the time. Other times, it's the opposite, and the roommates think the cat is theirs too, and some go as far as trapping the cat in their rooms. Sometimes, it's simply the roommates neglecting their own cats and forcing you, as someone who cares about living beings, to take care of them. And then there are the ultimate crazies - people like the roommate in this story, who three her friend out of the house with no warning and then told them that their cat is now her cat, and she can do whatever she wants with it. 

Rescuing a wild cat in trouble might be scary, and it might not be easy, but it is always, always worth it. 

Any injured or sick animal is at risk in the wild. Easy pickings for other, healthier and stronger animals. Even the fiercest lion, when injured, is easy prey. So, if you see a wild cat that needs help, doing something about it is the only right thing to do. Of course, you can never know what that animal's fate would be. Sometimes, these rescued wild cats go to sanctuaries. Other times, these wild cats find joy with new friends. Sometimes, these rescued wild cats help other rescued cats, giving them a completely new purpose in life. 

But the best case scenario, the one that we always hope for, is that the rescued wild cat will be strong enough, healthy enough, and still weary of humans enough to be released back into the wild. That's the dream. That's what we aim for. And although it does not happen all time, when it does, we are thankful. And to the man who rescued this tiny bobcat, who was stuck in a fence, we really are eternally thankful. Because what could have ended in tragedy didn't. This bobcat was given a new chance at life.
