This cat must have been a meowsician or a meowstro in his past life because his love for the piano music his pawrents play is simply harmonious. He knows when they're going to practice and will beat them to the piano, relaxing for hours while they serenade him with songs.

Cats never cease to ameowze us. Just when you think you've seen it all, from floofy fluffballs that look like living feather dusters to mama cats working at hardware stores, they go and do something out of left field you never saw coming. Purrhaps they're evolving, or maybe this cat in our story really just found his purrfect family to satisfy his unique and pawsitively melodic tastes.

Animals have been known to enjoy the occasional reggae song or relax to a Bach concerto, but this kitty takes it to a whole new level. His pawrents are purrfessional pianists, and he loves their playing so much that he will literally sleep on the piano while his pawrents play. You'll see below how he sleeps with his stuffed rat in between his paws, mouth open, safely in honk-shoo land while both his pawrents pound on the keys, purracticing for their upcoming show. We've truly never seen anything like it.

They describe something hissterical as well, they say that "he will get angry if we play the wrong note", which means that he must recognize the pieces to some extent. That's honestly incredible. We can barely remember what we had for breakfast, and this kitty can remember classic concertos. 

We never once assumed that cats were simple creatures, but this video just confirms that there's more to these fluffy felines than meets the hooman eye. And, as cute as this is, we have to wonder, will they have to play him a lullaby to fall asleep every night? So much for cats being low maintenance!

We know indoor-outdoor cats are a debate in the cat world, but can we all agree that forcing an indoor cat to go outside is definitely the wrong thing to do?

Personally, we support keeping cats indoors as much as possible. But we do see the other side of it. The cats that we have, we have all had from very young ages. It was early enough to change their habits so that staying only indoors wouldn't feel unnatural to them. But we can imagine that with other cats, it would be somewhat different. We can see how a stray rescued cat might have a problem with being locked indoors all the time. We can see how a cat that has been an outdoor cat their whole life might not take quite so easily to having it taken away from them. 

We get that deciding to make an outdoor can an indoor one would be a difficult decision, and sometimes an impossible one. Everyone will have to do what is best for their individual cat, in their specific circumstances, preferably while consulting a vet. It's not an easy decision to make, we know. But you know what is? When your friend tells you that their cat is an indoor one, do not attempt to let the cat out without their permission because of the side that you take in this debate. 

Microchip your cats and keep the microchips updated. You never know when they might save your cat. 

Cats are curious by nature. Even the most spoiled housecat who had everything that it could possibly want right at its paw-tips will still attempt to run out the door sometimes. It's not because they are unhappy. It's just the curiosity. It's wanting to see the world. It's wanting to go through the forbidden door and see what's out there. Any cat can do it, especially ones on ground floors or houses instead of apartments. You never know when your cat might run away and get lost. 

It's heartbreaking when your cat gets lost. You know how spoiled they are, how silly, how much they rely on you. You know that they probably wouldn't survive out there on their own for long. You look for them, you cry for them, but sometimes, they are too far to hear you. But if there's a microchip, then there is hope. Even four whole years down the line, when you have accepted that your cat is no longer coming back, you might still reunite with your cat. Get them microchipped if you can, and if you do, keep that information updated.
