Most of my faves are old, but what the heck! I can do that.

Great! I think sometimes the old beloved fic is forgotten and overlooked, because shiny new fic is the current flavour. In the sense that, people read the old fic years ago and assume others have to; when new fans come into the fandom, they see the fic garnering discussion and reccing is the more recent fanfic.
