Vegetarian Alert - Mars Using Animal Product in Chocolate

I know some of my flist are vegetarian and love their chocolate, so just in case you haven't seen this:

Also affecting brands such as Snickers and Maltesers, owner Masterfoods said it had started to use animal product rennet to make its chocolate products. "

Ankh, I could be wrong about this (I was half asleep at the time) but I think I heard on the radio this morning that Mars has backed down on plans to start using animal products after receiving so many complaints.
A triumph of good sense (or more likely the thought of losing zillions in sales).

Good! It was an idiotic decision so I'm happy to hear they've backed down. :-)
