3…2…1…here comes cats!

There are moments in our lives that mark us furrever. It could be a bad breakup, a career choice, meeting someone you never thought you could meet, or something serendipitous. We all have bad spells, times where we're down on our luck and try our best to pick ourselves up. Sometimes it feels like nothing seems to go right, and the weight of small frustrations and bigger disappointments presses down like a storm cloud you can't shake. During these times, it can feel impossible to imagine the light returning. But lifting yourself out of a bad spell is less about the sudden or dramatic shift in your life, but about the little deliberate steps that slowly reclaim your sense of agency.

And sometimes a cat can be that shift. It may sound silly or dramatic, but it's not. Cats really have the whole package to help us grow, even if we don't realize it at the time. We don't necessarily know how bad we feel until we compare ourselves to someone else, someone who seems to have everything together. We might even look at our cats and think to ourselves, "wow, if only I was as happy and content as he is." And although it's unnecessary to compare ourselves or draw conclusions about others, cats really do have all the answers! Even if they don't go out and tell you, they're keeping secrets of life and happiness to themselves. But with a little bit of love, petting, and tuna they will reveal everything you ever wanted to know. So enjoy these adorable cats and remember life will get better.

Finding a good cat sitter is hard, but sometimes, it's the cat owner who's in the wrong.

We often talk about how difficult it is to find good cat sitters, and that is true. It is hard to find someone who you trust enough to take care of your kitty and your home. But we can admit that, sometimes, the trouble comes from the other direction too. We've heard of cat owners decide they don't want to pay their cat-sitters. We've heard of people demanding their cat-sitter pay thousands for a cat door in their own home that they will never use. We've even heard of someone asking their cat sitter to pay for cat therapy because the cat got too attached to the sitter.

Just as much as it is the cat sitter's job to respect your boundaries, it is also your job to state these boundaries clearly. If you don't want someone eating your food, tell them that. If you don't want them using that specific towel, say that too. And if you tell someone that they can help themselves to anything in the kitchen, then you better mean that and not throw a fit when they accidentally open up and drink an expensive bottle of wine that you have been keeping.

What are your hissterical cats up to today?

Even though they sleep around 18 hours a day, our cats never miss an opportunity to do something silly, which later becomes a precious memory we tell everyone we can. Just yesterday, our sweet calico cat, Coco, was playing fetch with us, chasing her little ball around the house. One of the times we threw the ball for her, she didn't really look where she was running to, and smashed into one of the walls. Obviously, nothing happened to her; she was just embarrassed at her failure. But we got to have a good laugh out of the whole thing, and a lovely memory to share.

Whenever one of our cats does something funny, we immediately go to our little live home camera and save the footage of the funny incident. So, not only do we have thousands of videos and pictures of our silly cats on our phones, but we also have hilarious security footage of all these moments we will cherish forever.

Since something silly and sweet happens almost every day, we are almost out of phone storage. So, in order to save some space, we must tell you all about these moments right here, and we can come back to read them whenever we want. Not only is it great to keep these memories alive, but if they make even one person smile, then we definitely consider our job well done. And if we are doing it, why not have you join us? You can tell us all about the latest hissterical story that happened to you, especially if you didn't get the chance to take a video or a picture of your furry friend while it happened.

In return for your purrfect stories, we offer this collection of the funniest cat memes we could find on the internet this week. Not only are they a great mood booster, but they might inspire your cats to try new and improved ways to make your day that much more memorable. And after you are done scrolling through this collection, feel free to click here for even more hissterical feline memes.

Another kitten adopted, all in a day's work.

She had other cats, and wasn't really expecting to adopt another. But then, she saw her – a beautiful, tiny, innocent void cat in the rain. She has cats already, so she has put this cat in the laundry room to be on the safe side. Read the full story below for all the details.

What could be better than a bunch of kitties? Absolutely nothing.

Happy Thursday, it's nearly the weekend. There's something comforting about that day before the weekend starts, because you have everything to look forward to, and everything that happened in the week to let go of. What are you letting go of now? Is it the urge to do better at your job? The feeling that you're going to make a difference in the world? Or the desire to become a better and better person all the time? Because for some people, like basically everyone, they've given up the idea that adulthood should look a certain way. Technology has changed life as we know it forever, and it makes a person reach down into the depths of their true desires as a human, since technology is so unhuman. That's why people are so drawn to 2016! Technologically, 2016 represents a pre-algorithmic innocence; we all had technology, but its landscape and power was nothing compared to what it is today. Instagram was still chronological. TikTok didn't dominate culture. Online life felt less optimized and less surveilled. There were influencers, but not in the hyper-commercial, hyper-structured way we see today. The internet felt playful rather than strategic.

And culturally, 2016 was a certain experimental age. Fashion was experimental, and people thought their straightened hair and skinny jeans would last furrever. Pop music was glossy and communal — songs you remember hearing everywhere, tied to summer evenings and group chats. There was still a belief in forward motion. Even the messiness felt exciting rather than exhausting. So if you feel exhausted, then it's about time to scroll these silly kitties lost in their own frenzy of fun, funny, and feline energy!

"Luna Snow's been a blast to write ever since she debuted in comics in the War of the Realms: Agents of Atlas book. But this new story is something special – we get to focus on her as the hero and dig deep into what it means to be a pop star and a super hero at a time when fascists and exploiters have very specific uses for pop stars and super heroes." -- Greg Pak

Everybody wants to be a cat, because a cat's the only cat who knows where it's at!

Wanting to be a cat isn't just a random wish that manifests at a certain age. There's this saying that when you're a kid, you want to be an adult, but when you're an adult you want to be a cat. But with The Aristocats nostalgic soundtrack, you know this isn't a wish of our adulthood. Everybody wants to be a cat, after all. Because a cat is what we bet represents everything every person wishes for - napping where and when we want, having all our needs met with no expenses, and cuddles and pets on demand. You see? We weren't kidding. Cats truly represent most of modern society people's wishes.

Alas, we're not Professor McGonagall. We can't turn into a cat on demand. But we can definitely scroll through the cattest cat memes to absorb everything that's cat here.

Just when she was about to pop, she sought out comfort from a loving cat mom, and the rest is history.

We often think of feral cats as aggressive, dirty, and dangerous, but that's far from the truth. Some feral cats just want to be loved like every other cat, they just don't know how. It's up to us, the devoted cat lovers of the world, to teach them the joys of living rent-free indoors, with us as their hooman servants attending to their every need.

Don't get us wrong, some feral cats can be very temperamental, but that's only because they don't understand how to trust or communicate with hoomans. Never blindly approach a feral cat that you don't know. Always start with small, incremental meetings, from a distance, and always on their terms. Food is always helpful. It can take months, even years, for a feral cat to learn to trust you, but once they do, the hard part is pretty much over.

Today's feral feline didn't need any help opening up to her new mom, as she was purrfectly loving due to her being pregnant. Very pregnant, in fact. Right before giving birth, even feral cats can become purrfectly affectionate in order to sweet-talk hoomans into giving them a safe place to have their kittens. After some work, our cat mom was able to trap her and get her to the vet. Now she's safely joined their little feline family, and all the kittens are looking for their furrever homes. We couldn't have asked for a happier ending!

Giffen, DeMatteis, Hughes.

This story arc begins with a “heroic” Justice League associate using wealth and power to crush a reporter researching the truth about the team. You probably think I’m talking about Max Lord, right?

I mean, when Batman or Iron Man want to suppress reporting about themselves, at least they have the decency to sleep with the reporter to create conflict of interest. )

If a stray cat is extremely friendly to humans, that is the first major sign that it may belong to someone else.

We would like to think of ourselves as cat whisperers. We love cats, we try to pet each and every one that we see, and every once in a while, we encounter ones who… let us. Those rare extra-friendly stray cats who, for some reason, love human attention. We pet them, and we feel like we are on top of the world. But we know that this is rare. We know that friendly stray cats are few and far between, and even those friendly ones probably feel some trepidation toward humans.

If a stray cat approaches you, from our experience, it is usually for one of a few reasons. Maybe you're one of the lucky ones who gets adopted by a stray cat. That happens. Or maybe the stray is a pregnant momma cat in need of help. Happens too, more often than you'd think. Or maybe, just maybe, that friendly stray belongs to someone else. It's an option that you have to think about. Extreme friendliness in strays points to a lack of fear, and that lack of fear has to come from somewhere. It is your duty to try to find that someone else before you start making claims.
