Last question: Other. I don't think I care any more, which is a great shame. But they're basically two long episodes, and what I've heard of them makes them sound like bad fanfic.

We'll see. But I never liked the Star Trek films, so...

I said season 3, because it's the season they were airing in the USA when my country started showing season 1. Besides, I got spoiled very fast. *g*

I started watching while season 8 was airing, but I started with the season 1 DVDs. I didn't even know the show was still on the air at first, though I started taping it right away, and very quickly discovered that I needed a Tivo. *g*

I watched the whole show on DVD from start to finish until season 8. I caught up with the first half of season 8 in repeats, and then watched the second half of season 8 "live."

For the Daniel question, you forgot "hair." *g* Even though I think that MS/Daniel is hotter with shorter hair, part of what I loved about Daniel in the beginning was the longer hair.

I think it extremely unlikely I even will watch the movies, since season 10 was so hit and miss, given the things I've heard about them... aren't spoilers supposed to make you want to watch, not make you consider running screaming in the opposite direction? ;)

I'd bought the original movie and watched it over and over so when I found this SG-1 thing on video I was interested enough to buy it - and I've been buying and watching ever since.

I haven't heard much that has made me think 'Must. Watch. Now.' but I live in hope. I'll be reading responses/reviews from others first, just because it's easier to ignore something if I haven't seen it. Well, it worked for Aliens 3. :-)

I'm 4 months late but just stopped in and saw this, had to share the Daniel love.

I had to choose multiples on the "reasons to love him" query. I fell in love with Jack first, but he led me to Daniel.

When I got over thinking Daniel was just too *pretty*, I mostly loved him for his orphan-of-the-universe story, which of course was only made more poignant by his improbable tenacity and openness, and of course I love his genius and his mad skillz. (Not to mention the bod-b'god which he developed over time.)*g*

*sigh* Daniel. Yup.


Re: movies- Dunno, the last coupla seasons *I* kinda phoned it in. But, fresh and new SG-1 is better than no more ever again, in my opinion.
