People are using shopping trolleys as weapons. Normal civilised behaviour has gone out the window. Screaming at bored children in supermarkets is the new national pastime along with almost running over pedestrians in a desperate attempt to get a parking space. Yay. It must be Christmas.

I think that's a jolly sensible idea. You'd think the fog would be keeping people at home, but it seems to be acting like Hathor's purple mist and is enticing people to go forth and... shop (OK, so slighty different from Hathor's mist).

This is why I avoid all malls, all Walmarts, and all post offices from December 18th until after Christmas.

I'm thinking of giving *all* of December a miss in 2007. :-P

As for the icon, that's Ice. She was a very sweet, gentle, innocent character from the Justice League International comics in the 80's and 90's.
