*blinks* You KNOW about Beetle and Booster?! *glomps* I wasn't planning on a Booster but I suppose Ted might get lonely on his own, so Booster will be joining him tonight.
I worked in a comic book store during college, and when I started working professionally, I worked in another for extra cash. Justice League was one of my favorites, especially when Blue Beetle and Booster came into the picture. They were great together! And then there was that archaeology connection... :)
Sadly, comics have gotten so expensive that it's easier not to buy any than to try to limit myself to just a couple titles. I sometimes still buy compilation books though, and I still have all the comics I ever bought, somewhere in my parent's barn...
I had a Saturday job in a newsagent when i stumbled across them. Within weeks I was haunting comic book stores and spending a small fortune on back issues. Like you, I cut back on them because they were getting ridiculously expensive to keep up with storylines that were crossing over into dozens of titles. I did buy Formerly Known As Justice League just because. Do you know about Scans Daily lj?
